BALADA TRISTE DE TROMPETA (THE LAST CIRCUS) (2010)
One of the strangest films I’ve seen recently, which can only be compared to the likes of SANTA SANGRE, combining politics, war, sex, tragedy, deceit and a hell of a lot of other themes to tangle themselves up in a nice, hard, painful knot inside the viewer’s brain. Unrelenting misery. Bizarre and mesmerizing. See it.
