August Movie Tally - final

DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE! (1980)

Sleazy ’80s exploitation flick about a homely-looking misogynist photographer in LA that goes around raping, mutilating and murdering women. It’s not good or noteworthy other than the sublime fact that it is HILARIOUS. The killer makes these ridiculous noises that had me in fits. Great one for the midnight madness circuit.

4/5 stars

THE BABYSITTER (1995)

Not the greatest sitter movie involving Alicia Silverstone as the babysitter.

SCHOOL OF LIFE (2005)

Strange movie that affected me in an even stranger way. I hated it. Despised the characters, didn’t like the story, or the style. Kept watching for whatever reason. It threw things upside-down and I ended up somewhat enjoying it. I’d never buy it, but it’s a decent family flick, I suppose.

3/5 stars

I HATE VALENTINE’S DAY (2009)

Another fluffy, goofy flick that came on when I was stuck on the couch. Clearly, I was desperate to watch anything. Awful. Cute and fluffy.

3/5 stars
